Dr. Novak and team are here to serve you during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to taking care of your dental needs. Effective May 29, we are permitted to perform preventive dental care, per the State of Michigan. Please contact our office to reschedule appointments that were cancelled, 269-329-2004.
We are making several changes in our office to keep our patients, team, and community as a whole safe. We have taken many precautions to minimize the spread of infection:
During this time, things will be different in our office, as they are in our regular lives. Protective protocols will continue to evolve as the world learns more about this virus and how to keep everyone safe. Rest assured that we will stay up to date with all new developments and will implement all recommended protocols designed to keep you and our team safe while in our office. We are making several changes in our office to keep our patients, team, and community as a whole safe. We have taken many precautions to minimize the spread of infection:
- Please call to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling sick or have had any of the following symptoms in the past two weeks (fever, chills, cough, sore throat, loss of taste or smell). We will communicate with you prior to your appointment to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions when you arrive at our office.
- We have removed all magazines and toys from our waiting area.
- Your temperature will be taken before your appointment.
- All team members' temperature will be taken daily, they will be asked to stay home if not feeling well.
- We have eliminated our waiting room. Please don't arrive early to your appointment. When you arrive you will be brought back to a private room, if your room is not available, we will ask you to wait in your car.
- Any companions will be asked to wait in the car for the duration of the visit. Only one parent may accompany a pediatric patient.
- As a dental exam involves examining you in a close space, we continue to serve at a high level of infection control. Masks, gloves, disposable items, autoclave and thorough disinfection of the operatory remain our standard.
